چکیده

Determining that miRNAs play a role in breast cancer pathogenesis suggests it may be useful the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. In this study, 39 patients with invasive were diagnosed serum levels 20 miRNAs(miR-105, miR-21, miR-141, miR-200a, miR-200b, miR-200c, miR-203, miR-210, miR-375, miR-34a, miR-133a, miR-155, miR-139-5p, miR-143, miR-145, miR-365, miR-299-5p, miR-411, miR-452, miR-17) analyzed during after treatment. analysis results, is detected miR-200c(p=0.030), miR-375(p=0.045), miR-34a(p=0.042) significantly higher local advanced/metastatic group. Serum level miR-141(p=0.062) was lower positive lymph node involvement, whereas miR-133a(p=0.037) same patient MiR-105(p=0.015), miR-203(p=0.015), miR-375(p=0.033), miR-145(p=0.025) progesterone receptor negative group, likewise miR-105(p=0.053) high estrogen The miR-375 miR-133a noticeable human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 patients(p=0.037 p=0.014, respectively). MiR-143(p=0.009) miR-145(p=0.017) observed to group ki-67 index>20%. It found 2 miRNAs(miR-133a(p=0.018) miR-139-5p(p=0.004)) luminal B which separated by molecular subgroups. Nine evaluated(miR-105(p=0.0001), miR-21(p=0.001), miR-141(p=0.041), miR-200a(p=0.003), miR-200b(p=0.0001), miR-200c(p=0.0001), miR-203(p=0.0001), miR-34a(p=0.0001), miR-452(p=0.018)) increased 5 miRNAs(miR-155(p=0.0001), miR-143(p=0.0001), miR-145(p=0.0001), miR-365(p=0.0001), miR-299-5p(p=0.0001)) reduced We think help evaluating follow-up prognosis

Association Between Oncotype DX Recurrence Score and Clinicopathological Variables in Breast Cancer Patients

Introduction: Breast cancer is the most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer-related death in women. Clinicopathological variables are important factors in deciding on breast cancer treatment. This study evaluated the association between the recurrence score generated by the Oncotype DX® 21-gene assay and classic clinicopathological variables. Methods: A single-institution retrospect...

Association between HIC1 and RASSF1A Promoter Hypermethylation with MTHFD1 G1958A Polymorphism and Clinicopathological Features of Breast Cancer in Iranian Patients

Background: Ras-associated domain family 1 (RASSF1A) and hypermethylated in cancer (HIC1) genes are methylated more frequently in breast cancer. Genetic factors that alter the DNA methylation levels in normal and tumor tissues could therefore influence the susceptibility to this tumor phenotype. Objective: We determined the frequency of aberrant methylation of HIC1 and RASSF1A gene promoters an...
